How to Upgrade Your FMS 10702 with the Battery Compartment Lift Kit?

FMS 10702 (4074) Dedicated Battery Compartment Lift Kit — includes a motor cooling fan mount, compatible with fans up to the 4028 size. Features non-destructive installation and effectively increases battery compartment height to prevent wear on the original battery tray.

Each shipment also includes a battery compartment baffle, preventing batteries from popping out even when stacked.

Note: The fan shown in the pictures is not included and must be purchased separately.

If you need a fan, please contact us via email. We recommend the Sanyo 4028 5V high-speed “power” version with a 2-pin Dupont connector. (High-speed versions produce more noise; for quieter operation, choose the low-speed silent version.)

The fan can be directly plugged into any spare receiver channel — adding a switch is not recommended.
