FMS 10702 4074 Upgrade Parts Rear Axle Shock Limiter

This is a rear axle shock travel limiter specifically designed for the FMS 10702 (4074) short course truck. It effectively prevents the wheels from rubbing against the body when the rear shocks are fully compressed.

Its impact on shock travel is almost imperceptible to the naked eye, so there is no need to worry about severe travel restrictions like those found on crawler shock limiters — it is safe to use.

Unlike the small C-clip style limiters commonly seen on the market, this product uses a new sleeve design that distributes force across the top of the damping tube, preventing concentrated stress that could damage or deform the lower end of the shock. It also comes with a soft TPU buffer ring for enhanced protection.

How to install this Rear Axle Shock Limiter?

First, remove the screw fixing the ball head at the bottom of the damping tube. Then, slide on the two buffer rings before installing the main body of the limiter. The limiter is not side-specific; use the provided screw and nut, and tighten the screw just enough to prevent the limiter from sliding — do not overtighten.

Note that each limiter has an arrow marking, which must point upwards. Limiters must be installed in pairs, so be careful not to mix them up. Once installed, the limiters should be aligned with the outer edge.
